The Soldier 2022

I am very pleased to announce that 2022 will see two public performances of my song THE SOLDIER. This song has not been performed in public since 2018 when it was heard in Florida USA for an end of WW1 Commemorative event.

First performance - On Sunday April 10 at an event hosted by the Camden RSL Sub Branch I will be accompanied by the Camden Community Band playing Murray Bishop’s concert band arrangement of my song. We have had a rehearsal and it is sounding great! Please contact me or the Camden RSL Sub Branch if you would like to attend the afternoon concert at Carrington Hall.

Second performance - The Camden RSL Sub Branch has invited me to perform the song at this years Dawn Service - the song will be presented along with the video and its archival footage (as seen on Youtube), two very large video screens placed at the event will show the video. The Camden Sub Branch presents an honourable Dawn Service and it is a great honour for me to be involved. It is an exciting thought to me that the archival footage (from the Australian War Memorial Collection) can be shown in the early hours of the morning on Anzac Day. The original recorded arrangement will play with the video footage and I will sing live.
